Yoga for body image and eating disorder recovery Chicago

Are you looking to work on your relationship with movement in a weight neutral and trauma-informed space?

Yoga for Eating Disorder Recovery and Body Image

Our relationships with our bodies can often be fraught and diet culture co-opts and tangles our relationships with movement. Birch Tree Psychotherapy offers a trauma‑informed, therapeutic yoga group to help participants heal their relationships with their bodies and movement.

Discover a supportive yoga space that helps you build a mindful, more regulated relationship with your body. Through gentle movement and grounding breath-work, explore being present in your body from an intentional and compassionate approach.

No prior yoga experience needed.

All bodies, all identities, all levels welcome.

In this 6-week group, participants will work hands-on with Grace Williams – our in-house Eating Disorder dietitian and address their relationship with movement. This group fully aligns with Health at Every Size (HAES) and welcomes all sizes and genders. Grace will guide participants through body‑focused movement while they practice mindfulness and body acceptance.
